Zero to second brain
in a few minutes.
Install the desktop app, walk through the setup wizard, and — if you want your brain available everywhere — connect a cloud account.

First run: the setup wizard
On first launch, MindGraf walks you through a short wizard. Everything is changeable later in Settings.

Connect your cloud account (optional)
The desktop app is fully functional on its own. Connecting a cloud account adds the cloud agent — chat with your second brain from any browser.
- Sign up for MindGraf Cloud.
- In the cloud app, open Settings and create an API key.
- Paste the key into the desktop app — in the wizard's cloud step, or any time under Settings → Cloud.

Import your local brain (optional)
Already built up a local graph? Once your cloud account is connected, open Settings → Cloud and choose Move Local Brain to Cloud. MindGraf transfers your entities and relationships so the cloud agent has your full context.
System requirements
- macOS 13 or later, Apple Silicon or Intel.
- A few hundred MB of disk space, plus room for your knowledge graph.
- No account required — internet is only needed for cloud features and integrations.
